Privacy Policy
Last updated 28 July 2026
Choice Bible collects nothing. There is no account to create, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party services. The developer cannot see what you read, highlight or write.
What the app stores
Choice Bible stores the following on your device:
- Your highlights, notes and bookmarks
- The chapter you were last reading
- Your reading settings — typeface, text size, spacing, margins, theme and accent colour
That is the complete list. The scripture text itself is included inside the app and is never fetched, tracked or personalised.
iCloud sync
If you are signed in to iCloud, the items above sync between your own Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit private database. This means:
- The data is stored in your iCloud account, not on any server operated by the developer.
- The developer has no access to it and no ability to read, export or delete it.
- It is governed by Apple's privacy policy and your iCloud settings.
You can turn this off at any time in Settings → [your name] → iCloud. With it off, the app keeps working and your data simply stays on that one device.
What the app does not do
- No analytics or crash-reporting services
- No advertising or advertising identifiers
- No tracking across apps or websites
- No third-party SDKs of any kind
- No accounts, email addresses, or passwords
- No network requests made by the app itself
Children
Choice Bible does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything stored on that device. To remove synced data as well, delete the app's data from Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
Changes
If this policy ever changes — for instance if a future version adds a feature that needs a server — this page will be updated before that version ships, and the date at the top will change.
